Gobar Rakhi(गोबर राखी)

Gobar Rakhi is a handmade rakhi made from dried and processed cow dung. Artisans mold the cow dung into various shapes and sizes, which are then dried, decorated with eco-friendly colors, and attached to natural threads. Some versions even incorporate seeds within the rakhi, allowing it to decompose into the soil and grow into medicinal plants after use .

This initiative not only offers an eco-friendly alternative to plastic rakhis but also supports rural artisans and promotes the use of natural materials.
